Inside Out 2015-2016
The Inside Out program is an effort to identify and alleviate any mental obstacles to the child’s proper development. Some children may display extreme mental health issues while others show much milder symptoms.
This is an on-going 9-12 month program for each child. Every month, the Program Admin identifies 1-2 children to work with for the month. This identification is done based on anxieties that reveal themselves in specific programs.
Each child is given 15+ min for a one-on-one session. The Program Admin will work to counsel and motivate the child using various techniques for the purposes of alleviating the anxieties and improving their performance and/or participation in a program.
At the end of the month, the children are evaluated based on the Self-Worth Tree. The same children are evaluated over the summer and the comparison between trees is used as the metric.
