The quarterly goal at Agape Center was to increase the number of kids attending tuition classes there. Phase 2 of the initiative ran into trouble when the second tuition teacher at the center suddenly left. This led to the Hope Torch tuition teacher having to step-in and handle the additional children as well. As a way to deal with this sudden lack of teachers, classes were paused for awhile for the younger kids with the teachers focusing only on the older ones. This turned out to be a just a temporary measure however. The parents soon requested to start the coaching classes for the younger kids again, as they felt that the lack of tuition may negatively affect the kids’ performance in school next year. The program administrator and the tuition teachers are working hard to come up with a solution on how to manage the growing numbers with minimal resources!
