Vision: Empowering the ladies of the community to continue to grow their skills and interests.
Demographic: Women Empowerment. Ladies ages 35-55.
Those who have felt that learning and growth are no longer possible for them. We hope to provide tailoring skills and opportunities to use these skills in their communities.
What they choose to do with these skills is entirely up to the ladies themselves.
Vision: After education has completed, gaining entry into the workforce is a challenge for many reasons. We hope to provide the community with the skills they feel are needed to compete.
Demographic: Youth Seeking Growth Opportunities. Men and women ages 23-40.
Term 1 focuses on computer skills required in interviewing for a job requiring basic computer skills. We hope our youth can become comfortable with all computer shortcuts, email, and typing speeds of at least 30wpm.
Term 2 will focus on the common industry apps such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Canva. Google Docs will be used for creating letters and contracts. Google Sheets for budget and financial calculations. Canva for marketing skills.
Vision: Kindergarten is the time when students can quickly become comfortable with no techniques and skills in pedagogy.
Demographic: PreKG to UKG for this rural Mysore community
The goal is to introduce English phonics, Math basics, and EVS concepts at a young age through a Self-Worth Driven Education.
With this model, no child is left behind and is given the adequate time to learn the skills they need for the later grades. If they don't learn it in LKG, they will learn it in UKG.
By the time all have graduated, they will master the necessary skills they need for the school they choose next.
